To expand UMCOR's reach and support for local programs geared towards adjusting to the United States, and their growth towards self-sufficiency. Funds also assist United Methodist and ecumenical projects that support and assist resettled refugees and asylum seekers. By being in direct ministry with newcomers, local United Methodist congregations develop understanding of the realities facing refugees and immigrants both in the United States and across the world.
