To assist the millions of people suffering from hunger and living in poverty. To be in accompaniment with those who are suffering by providing emergency food assistance and avenues to both short- and long-term development programs with 80 percent used to help people internationally and 20 percent used to help people in the U.S. To influence the systems of injustice that perpetuate the cycle of poverty and thus eradicating hunger and poverty around the world. Emphasis is placed on the development and implementation of programs that alleviate and eradicate the root causes of hunger and poverty.
