Description
Medical care for adults and abandoned children.
A mission hospital cannot turn people away because they are unable to pay. Likewise, it cannot turn the children away, left by families, unable to keep them at home or are unable to pay for their care. In these circumstances, the children are abandoned to the church. The hospital has to provide medical services, free of cost for some and homes for as many as 30 children and 15 adults.
In 1984, the hospital developed a service fund to help underwrite the cost of providing the following free services for the children and adults: room and board, medical care, food, clothes and other care which cost $125,000 which the hospital cannot afford. This request is to help support the Service Fund.
