The purpose of UMCOR’s JFON is to engage and support local congregations in reaching out to and welcoming immigrants in their community by providing free, high-quality immigration legal services. JFON also assists and encourages its local congregation partners in mission education through the exploration of the machination of U.S. immigration law in light of Jesus’s exhortation for us to love our neighbors and to welcome the stranger.
